Business details

Business Name: My Awesome Store
Owner Name: John Doe
Business Type: Individual / Company
GST Number: (optional for India)

Choose subdomain

Your store URL: yourstore.mypopup.shopRequirements:
  • 3-30 characters
  • Lowercase letters, numbers, hyphens only
  • Must be unique

Brand customization

  • Upload logo (square, 512x512px recommended)
  • Choose brand color (hex code or picker)
  • Set currency (INR, USD, EUR, etc.)

Payment setup

Configure UPI for direct payments:
UPI ID: yourname@paytm
Optional: Add Razorpay API keys later

Each combination creates a separate SKU

Approve or reject

  • Approve → Order moves to “Paid”
  • Reject → Customer notified to resubmit

Policies

Set up store policies for customer trust:
Example:
- Free shipping on orders above ₹500
- Standard delivery: 3-5 business days
- Express delivery: 1-2 business days (₹50 extra)
- Ships within 24 hours
Example:
- 7-day return policy
- Product must be unused with tags
- Refund processed within 5-7 days
- Return shipping paid by customer
Example:
- Refunds via original payment method
- Processing time: 5-7 business days
- Cancellations before shipping: Full refund
- Cancellations after shipping: Minus courier charges

Settings → Notifications → Toggle specific alerts

Store Readiness Checklist

Before sharing your store URL:
  • At least 3 products added
  • Store logo uploaded
  • Brand color set
  • Payment method configured (UPI or Razorpay)
  • Shipping policy filled
  • Return policy filled
  • At least one social media link added
The app shows your readiness score on the Profile tab. Aim for 100% before launch!

Troubleshooting

Common fixes:
  • Check image size (max 5MB)
  • Try compressing the image
  • Ensure stable internet connection
  • Grant photo library permissions in iOS Settings
Check:
  • You’re logged into the correct account
  • Store is set to active (not draft)
  • Pull down to refresh the orders list
  • Check your email for order notifications
AI features require:
  • Active internet connection
  • Valid OpenAI API key (contact support)
  • Clear, descriptive prompts
Verify:
  • Notifications enabled in iOS Settings → Popup Store
  • App is updated to latest version
  • You’re logged in
  • Test by creating a dummy order on web
